BOVINE
BOVINE was my first experience as a department head on set and I will always remember it fondly as the film experience that inspired me to pursue film as a career. I was incredibly fortunate to travel 4 hours out of Chicago to rural Indiana with 30 DePaul students to shoot this very special short film on Vincent’s family ranch.
We slept and ate together for 4 days in an extra house on the ranch, in between long days of trudging through the mud and elbows deep in fake cow feces that I made out of soy sauce, cumin, corn starch and spinach.
BOVINE screened at The 56th Annual Chicago International Film Festival in 2019.
